the bright red in stool means it is in the lower intestines - it would be dark red if in small intestines now if vomit is bright red it is small intestines. I dealt with pancreatitis for a year and almost lost my dog to it and he never had blood in stool or in vomit and he was on deaths door. I think they can have the blood in vomit if they break a blood vessel from vomitting so that is possible
