Hmm...Buddy did not throw up...just blood and mucous in his soft poop. Our vet told us to give Buddy boiled chicken (breast meat) and white rice. I also added a tsp of puree pumpking to help with the soft stools. Have you taken Zeus to the vet yet? If he is acting weird I would certainly take him in. Fortunately Buddy wasn't throwing up, and his behavior was rather normal through the whole ordeal. When the vet saw him he said that if he had been acting out of it, they would have taken a rectal temp to see if he was fighting an infection on some sort in his gut, so Buddy got lucky....no anal probing. I have not given Buddy or his sister Lilu a bully stick since then..and both have been perfectly fine. I guess some dogs have more sensitive stomachs than others. I hope Zeus gets well soon!!
