Oh boy....talk about killing the mood.
Let's see..maybe try either putting him in a crate in another room altogether & leave the TV or some music on in whatever room he's in along with a toy, bully stick or some other treat in his crate with him. Or try putting something in front of your door so that he's not right up against your bedroom door barking and/or scratching and turn some music on (& up the volume a little
) until you're done!!
