UPDATE !!!
I brought Roxi to the vet today, a different doctor this time. I couldn't see a specialist today because I went after work, all the places were closed and also the neurologist is about 1-2 hours away from where I live. I will be going Monday or Tuesday since they are closed on the weekends. I was very pleased with this vet as he seemed to care more about Roxi rather than the first vet who said nothing was wrong with her and all she needed was some rest. This vet said that in her x-ray, her back is fine, but something is clearly going on in her neck/shoulder area. She arches her back so she can relieve the pressure or pain off of her neck/shoulder area.
He referred us to a neurologist to get a more in depth analysis to see what is really wrong. There she will get MRI or CT scan and see if surgery is needed. He suggests that the problem is cervical IVDD according to the referral papers. Since this is my first time, could anyone give me an estimate about how much MRI/CT scans cost so I can have some sort of price in mind?
I will keep everyone up to date after I see the neurologist sometime this week. I am very very thankful for everyone's concern, advice, suggestions and help. I just joined YT a few days ago to see if I could get some help and didn't expect to get
this much love from everyone. You guys are the best! I've included some pictures of her now as she tries to rest comfortably
