Thanks everyone for your well wishes.
I must say I was not able to sleep in my room lastnight. I was just too freaked out. Didnt want to worry my 6 and 11 yr old so we had a 'slumber party' for the last day of school and slept in the living room. I am going to clean and check every corner of my bedroom today, when the sun is bright , and hopefully I can sleep in there tonight. The Critter Catcher man checked the outside of the house for any colonies and did say he didnt think we would get more, so that helps also.
The sad thing is .... I would've really have done that .... I have an unnatural fear of anything creepy crawly! About 8 yrs. ago while living/working in GA, Patrick was meeting with a landowner late one night. I was trying to busy myself until he got home and decided to clean, change sheets, etc. I was just finishing making our bed and saw something on the comforter. It just looked like something dropped on there so I barely touched it with my finger. OMG!! It moved and it looked like a 1" - 1 1/2" Scorpion!!! It ran and I ran, almost falling all the way to the bottom of the stairs ... I grabbed a phone and jumped up on a chair in the middle of the dining room. I called Patrick, screaming to the top of my lungs and didn't move off that chair until he got home. He went upstairs, killed the scorpion and assured me everything was OK .... yeah, right! I said I was not sleeping in the house again ... especially not with that comforter on my bed. He kept insisting ... "it's dead, gone ... the comforter is new"!! I kept screaming ... "throw it out" ... I was more terrified imagining 100's of the little critters just waiting to bite me in my sleep!! Finally, he threw the comforter out, changed the sheets again [looking in every nook & cranny] and he very patiently did this every single night for two weeks while I watched to make sure nothing was there. He is such a patient, sweet man! We did find out, when we called our landlady in Chattanooga, that those littile things are common to that area of GA and they only feel like a wasp if they sting you!!!! She really got a laugh out of my ordeal and sent an exterminator down the next day.

Sorry this is so long, but your bat brought this back to my mind so vividly ... I definitely "feel your pain". It's a terrible thing to be so afraid.
