I have two girls and they are 2 1/2 mos apart in age and it has worked out well. I like that they are close in age, same energy levels, going thru the same stages together, things like that make it easier on them and me. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't do it, but I have always just brought the new dog home to meet the rest of the group and have never had a bad experience, at the beginning or later. Just thought I would let you know.
