The longest we have been away from Chester is 5 days, when we went to Vegas. Oh, I did not like that. My heart was broken. My dad watched him. I was on the phone four or five times a day asking how he was doing. He played with his mini daschund the whole time and we go over to my dad's house once or twice a week, so I figured he would be okay. Not so.
He slept downstairs with my sister and she said she never got any sleep because he whined so much every night. I would call and have them put me on speaker phone so I could talk to him. When we did come home, my sister who lives with us picked him up and brought him to the airport as a surprise. I was so excited to see him, but he completely ignored us for two whole days. He wouldn't even get up on the bed to play with us.
