I thought when I got a Yorkie he would be super cuddly and always want to be in my lap. Afterall, that's what my stepsisters 2 yorkies and my brother's yorkies do--they constantly stay by their owner wanting attention.
Winston does not. In the morning he wants love for about 15 minutes then he is totally aloof the rest of the day. He doesnt even come when I call and sometimes when I throw his ball, he just turns the other way. If I want him to come to me, he just sits there and stares. I just want some little yorkie LUVIN!!!!!! He gets plenty of time to chase animals outside and gets tons of exercise and attention, all I want is his affection in return.
Do you think this is because he is still young (6 mos). Or do you think he will continue his aloof behavior FOREVER....*sighs*
Do any of you have an aloof yorkie who could take you or leave you? I feel ashamed to admit it, but sometimes I feel rejected.
