I am trying to keep positive but the truth is that I am very worried about her. She will have to have a successful surgery and a successful recovery as well as the ameroid ring used to gradually close the shunt will have to work. Then the hope is that the blood will find its way back through a normal blood vessel back into the liver. I pray all goes well and that she won't have any complications which could be fatal. She is surely my little angel. Please keep her in your daily prayers and positive thoughts.

Again, thanks to everyone for all your comments and support.

I'm sure she will do great! My sweet Lola is just 3 months post surgery and she is doing great. She feels so much better than before. I know what you are going through...have faith. You have all of our thoughts and prayers - Give Emma a big Yorkie hug from us!
