Thats so hard! LOTS of hugs...
My aunts father just passed away this weekend and didnt go see him while he was sick. Personally... i dunno how anyone could wait. So from my experience... going is a MUST! For your own sanity and in case he doesnt have that much time left.
If your just traveling to another house, I would definitly just bring them with you!
