Has anyone's puppy ever done this and then turned out to be 100% potty trained???
You can't housebreak a 10 week old in this manner. I don't ever sell a 10 week old mine are 4months minimum if I am selling a pup.
I recommend an xpen with the bed, a wee wee pad, food and water, a few toys maybe a chew.
This is a baby, it should not be left locked in a crate while you are gone like that. I don't crate them at night either at so young an age, they are in an expen often sleeping with their mom at night.
I guess your breeder you bought from didn't tell you anything, not your fault.
But I will caution if you are looking for a Yorkie, buy from someone who does educate you.
Yorkies may or may not be difficult to housebreak. It takes a lot of patience and sometimes up to a year of age. Each dog is different.
Doing this with a 10 week old yorkie pup is like taking diapers off a six month old child expecting it to wait until you get home.
