Default Jealousy, Resentment, Avoidance

So I brought home the newest addition to the family, Romeo. Jack loves other dogs so I felt that a brother would be great addition. I knew to expect him to be upset, I mean really it's been me and him for almost the last year. But how long does it last? Jack really won't let Romeo near him to sleep. Jack will get up and leave his spot if I touch the new puppy. When you got a new puppy, how long did it take before your baby accepted the new little one? I'm hoping he comes around cause Romeo is a little love bug and tries to chase Jack around but he's still so little that he either gets sidetracked or tired. Please help. Any suggestions would be great. Or just words of comfort that Jack will hopefully accept Romeo would be kindly appriciated. And pictures are on my profile if you would like to see Romeo.
