I always paid my own way until it was kinda officially dating b/c I never wanted to have any kinda strings attached or anything else to feel guilty about if I cut it short...plus I am REALLY independent and kinda of a CONTROL FREAK when it comes to my life! Yeah I know it stinks and I should probably get therapy but DH has accepted it as just being part of me and DD has no choice but to accept it until she turns 18 and gets her own place!
