We had Lexi in her crate at night in the Bedroom. Until we could trust she wouldn't potty at night anywhere. She sleeps in bed with us now, but with the door shut, in case she jumps out of the bed! (I think I said I would never sleep with my dog!) She is 9 mos old. I think everyone has had their own experience with this. I truly believe in crate training, then moving up to the x pen, it has worked for us and she has potty trained very easily. Having the crate in our bedroom with us was a comfort for her, kept her from whining, so everybody got a good nights rest! Good luck with Bailey. (I love that name!) |
