Default Pottyy time

Well here you go..First you will need to be consistent and patience..My husband and I use the wee wee pads that have a smell to go pee on..I did not use the newspaper. SO Ihave no experience with that...We kept out little guy in a smaller area with a wee wee pad in the bathroom..every three hours we would take him in there and tell him potty time...At first we had the wee pads everywhere...They say when they go make a big deal about it (like and oscar) and give them a treat afterwood...Be consistent..IT WORKS..It is now 6months and my little guy goes to the bathroom in the bathroom and comes to us now afterwood for treats...Its pretty cute...It wipes his feet now really loud to tell us he went number 2..so he gets treat..We ALWAYS MAKE a BIG DEAL about it..He gets excited that we are excited..You will see it click in his brain...If you leave him in a big area he will have accidents, so start in a small area..We were told by DOctor not to crate him...He ended up getting a urniary tract infection due to crateting at night. DR. said that there bladders are to small to crate..So try the bathroom and work from there....Put his water and bed in one area and across the room put a wee wee pad or newspaper with that spray on it that attracts him..Good luck!!!IT will work!! P.S. Mine loves the area rugs too and it eventually stopped...Keep with it!!!
