 Sneaking you under blanket
While this might seem like a good thing to do. If you get caught, and you will, the airline might ban you from bringing the dog back on the plane for your return flight........ Then what would you do?
From articles I've read you should have either an early morning flight or late night flight so your dog will be tired and go to sleep easier.
Also, make sure he/she has pottied before boarding the flight. On a 5 hour flight I wouldn't feed him/her right before the flight either.
