We just went to Arkansas with 2 dogs and came back with 3. I used a small kennel for Baron because he jumps around too much. I did let him sit on my lap on pilliows in Tenn. for a bit. He fell asleep. I have 2 car seats so Sophie Kennedy and Sammy had those to sit/or lay down on. They're much calmer in the car than Baron. I seat belt both car seats and the small kennel for added safety. The dogs in the Car Seats wear padded harnesses too.
