I'm so sorry for the loss of your baby Benji. I know how much your heart is hurting right now. Last winter I also had to let my 13 year old baby go. I too held him as the vet administered the drug. Chipper was so sick with bladder cancer and I knew it was the right decision but it just hurt so bad to let him go. I cried and cried and when I thought there were no more tears I cried some more. It wasn't until Piper came into my life that my heart began to heal. Try to think of all the good times you had with Benji and remember how much he loved you, as time goes by the pain will be a little easier to bare.
