I used to give rawhide sticks and those little dingo things to my dog, too, but then I found out about how they don't really digest. My problem with nylabones and other similar products is that my pup finishes them too quickly.
Plus, every brand I found was made in China. While I know I can't know where all the dog food ingredients come from or other things, at least I can avoid those. (I did make sure my dog food was never on the fda warning list, though. Better safe than sorry!)
I started giving pig ears to my pup and she loves those. Her breath only smells a little afterward. I haven't managed to find anything on the internet wrong with those yet.
With all this talk of bully sticks, my interest is piqued.
What's the best brand that doesn't smell horrendous and how often should you give your pup one? (mine is about 4 pounds and a year old) |
