She does not appear to be in pain or distress and seems to be eating and drinking fine. I am calling the vet tomorrow but I wondered if anybody had any ideas?? I am scared for her. Sh had one litter of 5 puppies almost 2 yrs ago and 2 of the males had liver problems one with a shunt that was surgically corrected. she herself was checked out surgically because her bile acid were abnormal however was given a clean bill.
Any of your thoughts would be appreciated.

It sounds like a UTI or stones.
Exploratory surgery isn't normally the way a shunt is found because the vet wouldn't be able to see an intrahepatic shunt. A scintography could be done. Was a piece of liver sent for biopsy? Urinary issues are very much related to liver issues. If this is any more than a single UTI, she should probably be an a special diet and supplements meant for liver compromised odgs.
