That is a good theory. My old yorkie used to get out of bed only when he got too hot.
After reading through the posts, its interesting to me that some of you would allow your Yorkies to get under the covers and also on your pillows. One of mine likes to try that after he "builds his nest" for the night, but we never let him. In fact, our rule is the yorkies are not allowed on the sheets, and have to stay with blanket between them and us humans. The reason for that is we have found ticks on them before, and we found one in our bed once, and also both of us at one time have found one in our hair. Although very rare, once is one too many times for that! I will only snuggle with them at night as long as there is some blanket between us, in case they have picked up a tick; we use frontline, but they can still have one crawling on them.
