Thanks for the comments. I've looked both at petfinder and the national adoption site. I've inquired about ones I've found on petfinder that I thought might be good for us, but haven't found a match yet. There are a couple on the national adoption site (Niknak looks perfect!), but as I said, I don't have $850 or so to spend (well, not that my wife is going to let me spend, anyway).

I'm checking sites everyday, wish me luck, and keep your ears open for me!
