Since his mom was larger, too, Snickers obviously has over standard sized Yorkies in his background. Reputable breeders always strive to produce Yorkies who are as close to the standard as possible. It wouldn't be safe to try to use a smaller female, either, as she could have complications.
Just get him neutered and enjoy him as a pet. If he's used as a stud, his personality will change anyway. Intact males develop all sorts of undesirable behaviors like marking.
