Thanks for the info! I didn't know non-shedding dogs have a harder time in the heat. Chase gets hot very easily. Like Layla, he still has mostly black fur. The panting has been more noticeable after walks in the past few weeks. I usually wash his paws with cool water, but had to give him a bath yesterday since it was so hot! I'm thinking of buying a cooling mat for him. |
