I would not give her Cal-sorb at all. I only use it for emergency situations. All my females get is 1/2 of a Doc Roy's Healthy Bone twice a day. Plus mine get their dry food mixed with some canned Pedigree Lamb and Rice puppy food. I have just never heard of giving Cal-sorb as a daily supplement, it has a tendency to make the momma nauseous.

With my last litter I delivered in our bedroom and after all the pups were delivered we moved the momma dog to the spare bedroom, before I closed the x-pen gate she did pickup a puppy and try to bring it to our bedroom. Once I closed the gate she settled down and stayed with the pups.

Welcome to the crazy world of breeding.
