Default $50 Female ~ Finding Fido, AZ

$50 adoption donation

This sweet little old lady somehow wound up at the county shelter. We were certain that her owner would come for her, but when that didn't happen, she was scheduled to be euthanized. We were not going to let her spend her last days in a cement kennel, as it's obvious that this darling little girl was well cared for and loved by her previous owner. We estimate that she is at least 12 years old, probably older--but remember--little dogs can live to be 20 years old! She has cataracts and has no teeth--so she eats canned food. Her tongue always sticks out--it's so cute! She does very well with dogs and cats, but is afraid of the young active ones--she will cry and try to run away from them. She has found that the master bathroom is a nice place to hang out, nice and quiet, so her foster mom has moved her pretty pink bed in there. She appears to be housebroken, she's had a few accidents in the house, but has also learned to use puppypads.

This is one of the sweetest dogs we've had in foster. She is in her golden years, we don't know how long she will be around--could be a month, a year, 5 years--who knows. If you have room in your home and heart for little Yolanda, please email us! Yolanda is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered
