| $50 Female ~ Finding Fido, AZ $50 adoption donation This sweet little old lady somehow wound up at the county shelter. We were certain that her owner would come for her, but when that didn't happen, she was scheduled to be euthanized. We were not going to let her spend her last days in a cement kennel, as it's obvious that this darling little girl was well cared for and loved by her previous owner. We estimate that she is at least 12 years old, probably older--but remember--little dogs can live to be 20 years old! She has cataracts and has no teeth--so she eats canned food. Her tongue always sticks out--it's so cute! She does very well with dogs and cats, but is afraid of the young active ones--she will cry and try to run away from them. She has found that the master bathroom is a nice place to hang out, nice and quiet, so her foster mom has moved her pretty pink bed in there. She appears to be housebroken, she's had a few accidents in the house, but has also learned to use puppypads. This is one of the sweetest dogs we've had in foster. She is in her golden years, we don't know how long she will be around--could be a month, a year, 5 years--who knows. If you have room in your home and heart for little Yolanda, please email us! Yolanda is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered To start the adoption process, please go to our website--FINDINGFIDO.ORG and complete a preadoption questionnaire. If you have completed one for another rescue, feel free to forward that on to us. We are a 501c3 non profit organizaton funded soley by donations and adoption fees. We do not have any paid employees, all of our members are volunteers. Adoption fee includes: *Spay/neuter Current vaccinations including bordatella and rabies (age appropriate vaccinations) Microchip One year Maricopa County license (most dogs 6 months and older) Heartworm/tick fever/lyme disease blood test Animals will be started on heartworm preventative Frontline application (flea and tick preventative New collar and leash . |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We used to live in AZ if we still did we'd have taken her, we had two and a half acres and took in animals/pets who needed homes. Once we took a pig! I hope she finds a home she deserves a good retirement place.
