All 3 of mine got the 3 year and have been fine. They're is Baron @ 7 lbs.,Sophie Kennedy @ 9 lbs. and Sammy @ 12-13 lbs. If you're hesitant about giving the whole shot @ one time ask the Vet to give it in 2 parts a month apart. The Vet I used to work for did this in cases of small dogs to reduce the risk of a reaction...Good-Luck...
