I know exactly what you’re going through. My Ginger is 16 weeks old and has a serious biting problem. In fact, she got me good in the nose last night. She’s been like this since I got her at 8 weeks. She can get really excited and aggressive. At first I would get really upset and try to scold her, or put her in timeout, but that hasn’t helped any, in fact, getting angry at her makes it worse. Everyone says they’ll grow out of it so in the meantime I just try to direct her attention to a toy. And when she gets like that keep her away from your face! Lol.

I like to blame her behavior on my boyfriend. He raised pits and forgets sometimes she’s not one. He tends to play with her a little too… aggressively, but she looooves it. I’m always the big party pooper who has to come brake up playtime between them because she’s getting too excited and playing too rough! Lol.

So don’t worry, you don’t have an unusually mean puppy; I think they just get overly excited.
