I got some Bitter Yuck before we ever brought her home. At the first sign of chewing on things I sprayed with it. Surprisingly I've had to spray very little of it on anything. We have been good at sidetracking her with toys which seems to be doing the trick with her. I even sprayed a couple pair of shoes that I use a lot & are often by the door. She's made a few attempts at chewing them, but stops. Now when I'm busy & she feels a need to be next to me, I find her laying on top of my shoes sleeping. I mean, really, she has lots of comfy places to sleep, but she likes sleeping on my shoes. : ) But really the best thing is to keep things like that put away where she can't get them. |
