My pup Lola stayed with my sister in Upton MA in late March when my son was at Boston Children's. We found only one tick in her ear. In April I had blood work done for heartworm. The test came back positive for Lyme's! She just finished a month of doxycycline. My vet recommended the Lyme's shot as he is seeing more dogs coming back positive. He also said the ticks are VERY bad this year. |
