I'm really interested to hear why the dental specialist didn't like it, Lorraine. I haven't used it on Roxy yet, but you've piqued my curiosity! I'm thinking that maybe, over time, it possibly erodes enamel? Or maybe their research is using the product simultaneously with a specific type of food or something, which changes the results... My mind's going to all sorts of possibilities! |
He felt the alcohol content way too high to the point of the product being carcinogenic. Also the research left a lot to be desired with only a handful of test subjects and a couple of control subjects for the dogs and only one control for the cats. The alcohol would also sting like heck when sprayed in the mouth like that. He could not see any of the product that can prevent or clean up tartar.
