I found another dog several years ago, on the 4th of July, poor little thing probably ran away because of all the noise, and I called the pound that night, and they just said I could keep it until someone called for it. The next morning I got a call from the owners. I was going to do it this time, but the neighbor was so insistent that the pound wouldn't let me keep it till the new owner could be found, that I was afraid to call them. Rest assured, I wasn't going to take it to the pound, but only let them know where it was, in case someone called. Thanks for all the advice; I'll check out that lead. Someone is probably frantic; I know I would be. She's such a sweet little thing. |
