I've picked 7 ticks off of Bobo in the last 2 days. This has really never been a problem before. I called the vet, and she said to go ahead and give him another dose of Frontline (6 days early) as the "ticks have been particularly aggressive this season". We live on Cape Cod, so I always worry a bit about the deer tick situation.
I felt a little funny dosing him early, and am keeping an eye on him. So far he seems fine. He is on the larger side of the scale at almost 7 lbs. |
