I always had to knock on my parent's bedroom door and my daughter has been taught this as well. I also knock before entering her room. It just seemed nasty to yell, you will never be in here again! Again, I don't have 8 children but if that's what it takes... I don't know, I'm just not that kind of mom so I guess it's a good thing I haven't and wouldn't put myself in a position to have to be that kind of mom. It is beyond my imagination to ban my child from my bedroom at all times. Since my daughter was little she has enjoyed sitting in my bathroom with me and chatting while I do my hair and makeup or lying in the bed watching movies together... Maybe it's a perk of not having so many or maybe Kate's just a bitch, I have no idea.
