My gf and myself have a pair of yorkie brother and sisters. Kuma (my yorkie) had tapeworms (look like bean sprouts and can flatten out). As a preventitive our vet gave meds to both our pups and sure enough, roughly 4 hours later, both are throwing up and pooping out a tapeworm.
It was gross but it did the trick!
