My 9 year old yorkshire terrier is swollen and would allow my stud dog to mate her, but she has not lost any blood. She is a dominant bitch and she is furious that my 16 month yorkie is having her first season. Is she experiencing a "silent heat"? Can a bitch get pregnant during a "silent heat"? I have my stud dog in a secure room away from the girls. Any help greatly appreciated.
