If it weren't for YT I would still be listening to my vet thinking he was
doing what was best for Buddy.
Last year for the first time he got so sick after being innoculated with
everything the vet had in his office! Encluding rabies after two years
when the shot was good for three!
I have learned alot this past year in reading up on these vaccines
and took control, finally.
My old vet does not do tieter testings so I said good bye.
We have an appointment with a new vet on 5/28 who will do it
and I plan on having an inlength talk with the new vet. He is also
a member of the AAHA which the last one was not. Hopefully he
will follow what they belive, booster shots every three years unless
Rabies has to be given yearly due to your location.
I don't care if the testing cost more. If he needs the shots fine,
if not at least I know what is going on in his body.
I never believed I would be second guessing a doctor but here I am
doing just that. It's a time where we all have to take charge of not
only our pet's but our own health also. You can't believe everything
a doctor tells you. With the internet you can learn so much.
I would be on 6 pills daily if I left it up to doctors and I'm healthy!
A pill for this, a pill for that, than another just in case. Bull!
So many doctor's push pills and innoculations. It's scary.
