Welcome to Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. there is an online application (same one as if you are adopting) that you fill out. We need to go through the process because almost all of our foster families have also been adoptive families. We do a vet check and a home visit and once you are approved, you are invited to be a member of SAY Rescue. When pups are surrendered or picked up at shelters we need people to take them in and care for them as if they are your own until the right home is found. As a foster mom, you will talk to the applicants that are interested in the pup you are fostering and give us feedback.
It's really pretty simple - all you need is a lot of love to give these babies!
