I recently got a 8 month old male, Mikey, who was also a major biter. The breeder apparently didn't teach him that biting was bad. What I did was use my hand and push his face away from me and said sternly "NO BITING" then I also removed him from my lap and ignored him for a bit. After doing this for about two weeks, Mikey no longer bites me, he'll sometimes go after one of my other dogs and I'll tell him no biting and he seems to get the message.
