I really don't care for this vet. I feel like he's trying to sell you everything instead of doing what's best for the pup. Making you afraid of dosing the Metronidazole, if it wasn't safe, my pup wouldn't be taking it. An ultrasound is nice, but is it really necessary? You know there's an obstruction from the xray, what's he need, a detailed road map? What will a better picture of it provide him? Most times, you don't really find out the cause until after it's removed and you pull it apart and find something stupid, like a piece of a toy or something like that.
At least, thank God you got a diagnosis! |
