Wow. I can't honestly say I am surprised, but it is depressing nonetheless.
Boy did that bring back some not so fond memories for me...most of that was filmed at GVS where my bullmastiff went for his weekly chemo treatments and where he also spent quite a bit of time in the ICU. Dr. Hamilton is the one who treated him when he came out of remission...he is the oncologist on staff there.
We are definitely going to do the titers when we are due for our annual check-up in December. I can't find a way to get around the bordetella every six months that the doggie daycares require. At least those can be done nasally rather than by injection, so that is "good" if it is indeed the injection that causes the reaction. |
