I have always, always preferred male dogs over females. I feel that males bond better with me (being a female). My Tater, my male Yorkie, is a sweet little cuddlebug. I have a female as well, she is wonderful, but much more independent. Tater is glued to my hip (he is laying in my lap as I type) while my female is usually near enough that she can keep an eye on me (she is laying at the opposite end of the couch currently). I think you will be happy with your new sweet baby boy!! Tater was a marker until I got him neutered, but I believe it was because he came into a home where my roommate had a male. I do encourage neutering him when he is of age

good luck!!
