Sweet Pea was supposed to get spayed today, but her blood tests came back abnormal. Electrolyletes were elevated, potassium was "off" she may have Liver Shunt???

So she will have to have an ultrasound which will cost about $750.00!!! My daughter and i cried when we picked her up. She is on a special diet and antibiotics.

I remember reading something about Liver Shunts in Yorkie's but i can't find that info, can anyone point me to the site??
