Some yorkie will stay dark, but the face will still change from the black/tan face to all tan. his body may still stay dark. But yorkies can change color a few times until they get the "final" coat. Uni changed very early, about 3 months she started to change. She used to have a very defined grey "racing stripe" between her eyes too, but now it is all blonde. Whatever your baby changes to you will love it. I wanted Uni to be darker but I get so many compliments on her blonde face now, I love it.
