I have a 6 1/2 month old yorkie. He is tiny (2lbs) and his hair is still black and tan. I had let it grow out but decided to give him a puppy cut for the summer. Both of his parents were very light tan and blue and his siblings hair had already changed to tan on their hads within a few months. The hair on his head is a mix of silverish and tan and the black almost looks burgundy when the light hits it. I'm just hoping he doesn't stay black and he changes soon. I've been told it usually happens around six mnths, but still nothing. I can't see any reason why he wouldn't but who knows. Anyone here that can help me out??? He isn't a chocolate yorkie either....
