I am so sorry to just be reading of the loss of your baby. Did any of your vets suggest there might be hydrocephaly as one of the causes of the seizures? I am sorry and I am not trying to make things worse or second guess your vet or the ER but the pic of Chewie has some of the look of a puppy with that condition. I have seen 2 puppies with it and they have a certain look.
Will the breeder allow you to come and pick out the puppy you want as a replacement? It is very important to be hands-on when you pick the new baby. I just recently felt healed enough to get another baby and my Jesse has been dead for a good while. BUT, getting anew puppy has helped me a lot to heal that hole in my heart.
