If you aren't already using an enzyme cleaner I suggest you get one. These special cleaners contain bacteria that eat the protein found in urine, if any of this protein is left after cleaning a dog can smell it and feels "compelled" to return to the spot, that's one of the reasons pee pads work, they have some of the protein built into their pads. Another suggestion is to make a pee diary and write down any accidents he has. Put any relevant information, such as was their a clean pad available, some dogs are fussy and don't like a messy pad. In time you might be able to see a correlation between his accidents, and something else going on. Sounds like the older ones helped trained the newbies! Welcome to Yorkietalk!
