The thing about pancreatitis, is it usually doesn't happen right now, sometimes it can take a few years. My friends 6 year old yorkie got pancreatitis, but, it wasn't until she was 5, and they were bad about giving her table food for the first 2-3 years of her llife, then they stopped, but, the dog still got it a couple years later
