I only take their temps of a morning and of an evening. I don't see the need to take it more than that throughout the day. Their temp can change from walking, sleeping, eating, drinking so it can be all over the place if taken more than twice.
Unless you just feel uncomfortable lettng her out, I also leave my x-pen door open, so if she wants to go in she can and if not...that's okay too.
